Art Juror / Art Selection Experience
1993 – 1998
During this period, selected art for a public entity. I first served as a Member of the Board of Trustees and later the Chairperson of the 12-member Metropolitan Miami-Dade County Art in Public Places Trust. As such, I participated in the selection of artists to be commissioned and in the approval or rejection of public art projects for Miami-Dade County. This included art projects for The Arsht Center; various Miami International Airport concourses; Metro-Mover stations; Metro-Rail stations; Parks; the 36th Street Perimeter Road, among other projects.
